About
Having grown up just down the road in Bicester, I have now lived in Beanhill for almost 10 years. I work as an architect who specialises in low energy housing which removes the reliance on fossil fuels and reduces energy bills. My work also places emphasis on addressing the impact of climate change and improving biodiversity, working across Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire, Oxfordshire, and London. I am also a committee member of the Royal Institute of British Architects Buckinghamshire branch.
Outside of architecture I can be found enjoying the green spaces Milton Keynes has to offer (including with a local dog walking group I help run), experimenting in my workshop building furniture, or working as an instructor for dog training classes.
Campaign Priorities
If elected I will listen to local residents - as they should be at the heart of all council decision making - and make sure funding goes to areas that matter to them. This will include getting potholes fixed, clearing up litter, maintaining the Redways, and improving the ward - which often feels overlooked by the council.
I will push for more help with the cost of living, including upgrades to housing to help lower energy bills.
I love Milton Keynes and think the city is something special. We have beautiful green spaces alongside the workings of a modern city, but Woughton & Fishermead deserves better than it's currently receiving. It’s time to try something different. The Green Party can provide much needed change.
