Gary Lloyd

I have lived in Oakridge Park, in the New Bradwell Ward, for several years, so I know the area and it's issues well. I've been a Green Party Activist for many years, and have served as a Green Parish Councillor in my previous home in Harrold, Bedfordshire; so I have political experience too. I work locally as a Postie out of Newport Pagnell, and deliver in rural areas around Olney; and also serve as Newport Pagnell's Union Rep, looking after the interests of my fellow workers in Royal Mail, helping them whenever I can. I'm a Dad and a Grandfather, so I understand the struggles that Families are going through with the cost of living crisis; and I will work tirelessly if I am elected to improve the lives and environment of people who live in the wonderful area of Milton Keynes that is New Bradwell. 

Preserving our Green spaces. It's the one part of Milton Keynes that lots of people don't know about, and we are so lucky to have so much of it. I will do everything I can to support the work of the Parks Trust who look after it. 

I also want to help to preserve and improve our public transport system, and keep fares affordable.

Whilst preserving our Green spaces, I want to ensure that any new build properties in Milton Keynes are future proofed against the volatility of fossil fuels by ensuring that they are properly insulated, and have solar panels and heat pumps.
