Like many people in Milton Keynes, I was born and raised elsewhere, so living here is a choice. It's a choice I made thirteen years ago, and I've lived and worked here ever since.

For a large part of that time, I've been a union caseworker, so I'm used to fighting the corner for ordinary people. I'm used to listening to their concerns, finding solutions, and challenging authority when needed. I'm now asking the people of Watling ward to allow me to do the same for you, as your elected representative to Milton Keynes City Council.

My campaign priorities are about ensuring we have a Council that serves you. One that has the needs and priorities of local people at the heart of everything it does. This includes:

• An accessible and responsive Council that listens to local people.
• Public services that benefit the public, not profiteers.
• Common sense planning - ensuring new developments have the infrastructure needed to build their community. Not waiting years without a local shop or bus route, leaving people feeling isolated and unconnected.
